- Major brands opening new facilities across the county.
- Why businesses are choosing Spartanburg for their future growth.
I am always eager to expand my knowledge and share exciting updates about how local communities are growing. Today, we have some fantastic news out of South Carolina. In 2025, the area of Spartanburg saw massive growth. A group called OneSpartanburg, Inc. helped bring in 20 major projects. These deals add up to a stunning $3.5 billion in new money and create 1,024 new jobs for local families.

The leaders behind this push are thrilled to see these results. Allen Smith, the President and CEO of OneSpartanburg, Inc., shared his thoughts on this success.
“Spartanburg County continues to set the bar in South Carolina, and in many ways, across the Southeast, when it comes to economic investment and job creation. That matters both for our people and for our reputation as a place business can grow,” said Smith.
He also noted, “We will continue our work to pursue economic investments that create economic opportunity and mobility for the people of Spartanburg County.”
Katherine O’Neill, the Chief Economic Development Officer, is just as excited about the human impact.
“Our continued work to bring high-paying, knowledge-based, and corporate job opportunities to Spartanburg County paid off in 2025, as a host of innovative companies chose to locate in or expand across our community,” she explained.
O’Neill added, “While the investment figure of $3.5 billion is impressive, we are more encouraged by the creation of more than 1,000 new jobs for the people who live in Spartanburg County.”
Daily Cash Flow
When you break down that $3.5 billion, it means about $9.6 million was invested into the county every single day last year. Imagine a small lottery win hitting the town every 24 hours! It shows that big brands and investors truly believe in the area. From new tech to daily manufacturing, this money is building a stronger foundation for everyone.
Welcoming New Brands

Several companies decided to make the county their new home in 2025. The biggest splash came from NorthMark Strategies. They are spending $2.8 billion to build a giant computing center. It will create 27 jobs. Even better, they will generate their own power on site, so they won’t stress the local power grid.
Another exciting addition is AIRSYS Cooling Technologies. They are moving their global headquarters to the area with a $40 million project. This move will open up 215 jobs and include one of the largest 3D printing factories in the world right in Woodruff.
Meanwhile, Xoted Biotechnology Labs is bringing scientific research to town with a $4.2 million center and 34 jobs. On the aviation side, Woodward, Inc. is investing nearly $200 million in aerospace tools, which will bring 275 new jobs to the community.
Growing Local Favorites
It is not just new businesses spending money. Companies that already love the area are growing too. FabLogix is putting $9.8 million into a pipe building facility in Duncan, adding 150 jobs.
ZF Chassis Systems is also growing in Duncan. They are spending $55.4 million to make more car axles and adding 30 jobs. Tindall Corporation is putting in $49.9 million for 30 jobs to keep up with high demand.
The aerospace field gets another boost from Advanced Ceramic Coatings, which is adding 72 jobs with a $27.8 million expansion. Finally, Auria Solutions is investing $8.9 million to make more parts for BMW and Honda cars, creating 67 new jobs.
Looking Ahead

These 20 projects are great news for entrepreneurs, investors, and local workers. The focus on smart growth and new tech proves that the future is very bright here. It is wonderful to see so many opportunities opening up for regular folks.
