The Future of Regional Transportation

Rally OurBus: The Virtual Bus Company Connecting Thousands Across the U.S. and Beyond

Rally OurBus is changing how we think about bus travel. Imagine a world where you don’t need to own a car. Instead, you can use different types of transportation whenever you need them. That’s the future Rally OurBus is helping to create. By combining technology with the traditional bus industry, they’ve built something entirely new: a virtual bus company.

A New Way to Travel

Rally OurBus is like the Uber of buses. They don’t own any buses themselves. Instead, they connect with local bus operators to create routes that meet the needs of travelers. Whether you’re heading to a concert, a sporting event, or just traveling between cities, Rally OurBus makes it easy. They’ve already helped millions of people get where they need to go, in thousands of cities across the U.S. and beyond.

“We are the mass mobility segment, addressing regional transportation and surge demand,” says Numaan Akram, Rally founder. “By applying technology and business model innovations to an old industry, we can change the perception and user experience problem of buses.”

How It Works

Rally OurBus offers two main services: Rally, which focuses on on-demand rides to events, and OurBus, which provides scheduled intercity travel. If you’re going to a big event, like a concert or a football game, you can use the Rally app to find a bus route or even create one with other fans. Once enough people sign up, a bus route is set, and you’re on your way!

For longer trips between cities, OurBus offers a convenient option. They compete with other bus companies, but because they don’t own buses, they can keep costs low and flexible. This makes it a great choice for people in smaller cities who might not have access to regular bus services.

“We moved 10s of thousands of Swifties to concerts around the country last year,” Akram shares proudly. “We executed the largest mass mobilization in history with the Women’s March in Washington, moving 50,000 people from 250 cities across 20 states.”

A Greener Way to Travel

Rally OurBus isn’t just about making travel easier—it’s also about helping the environment. By getting more people to share a bus instead of driving their cars, they’re reducing the number of vehicles on the road and cutting down on emissions. Since their launch, Rally has helped save millions of pounds of CO2, making it a greener way to travel.

“We have built a dynamic intercity transportation network,” says Akram. “We are excited to be a leader in mass mobility and look forward to being the first international brand in busing.”

Connecting Communities

One of the most exciting things about Rally OurBus is how it connects communities. By working with local bus companies, they’re bringing new business to small towns and cities that might otherwise be left out. This also means that people in these areas have more options for getting around, whether they’re traveling for work, school, or fun.

“We are the mass mobility segment, addressing regional transportation and surge demand,” Akram explains. “The bus industry loves us because we’re unlocking the value of the existing assets.”

Rally is Mass Mobility as a Service

The Future of Rally OurBus

Rally OurBus isn’t just about the present—they’re thinking ahead. They’re already working on hydrogen and autonomous buses, which could make travel even more efficient and environmentally friendly in the future. With the support of major investors, including Mercedes, they’re well on their way to becoming a global leader in mass mobility.

In the words of Numaan Akram, “We imagine a future where people won’t own cars but rather use the different types of transportation that we need on demand.”

Rally OurBus is more than just a bus company. It’s a new way to think about mobility, and it’s helping to shape the future of transportation for everyone.
