We all know that keeping employees happy and healthy is a big job. It is not just about preventing the flu or a cold. It is about mental health and feeling good every day. Two major companies are now joining forces to make this easier for everyone.

At the Dubai World Health Expo 2026, a new plan was shared. Abu Dhabi Health Data Services (ADHDS), which is part of the M42 group, is teaming up with TELUS Health from Canada. They want to use new technology to help workers in the UAE and beyond.

Better Support for Workers

The main goal here is simple. They want to shift healthcare from fixing problems later to stopping them early. This is called predictive care. To do this, ADHDS will work with TELUS Health on a special program for employees.

This program includes more than 40 different parts. It looks at emotional support, lifestyle, and general wellbeing. Because people speak different languages, the program is delivered in local languages to make sure everyone understands.

This is great news for bosses too. It helps improve workplace focus and lowers the number of days people miss work. When people feel better, they work better.

What the Leaders Think

This partnership combines global knowledge with local digital skills. Kareem Shahin, the Chief Executive Officer of the Digital Health Solutions Platform at M42, explained why this matters.

“By combining TELUS Health’s global expertise with M42’s ADHDS digital health capabilities, we are delivering a truly transformative AI-powered employee assistance program tailored to the needs of employees in the UAE,” said Kareem Shahin. “This solution is designed to support the creation of a health and wellbeing environment where people can thrive, enabling healthier and more resilient communities.”

Using AI for Good

Both groups are also looking at the future. They want to build AI solutions that make healthcare faster and easier to get. This includes working on precision medicine. This means treatments that are tailored exactly to what a person needs.

Mohamed El-Demerdash, the President of TELUS Health, sees a big change coming.

“The UAE and the region are experiencing a fundamental shift in how organizations approach employee wellbeing,” said Mohamed El-Demerdash. “Our agreement with M42’s ADHDS positions us to be part of that transformation, exploring how our market-leading solutions and world-class mental health support could help employers and their employees. With M42’s ADHDS digital expertise, we have the potential to deliver wellness at scale while respecting the unique cultural context of the region.”

A Stronger System

ADHDS already has a lot of strong tools. They run Malaffi, which is a system for sharing health info. They also have platforms for e-prescriptions and virtual hospitals. By using this digital base, the new wellbeing offers will be secure and easy to grow.

This teamwork is a prime chance to mix clinical skills with smart tech. It aims to build a stronger health system and a healthier community for everyone involved.
