Indigo Events Changes Name to Indigo Visual

In this article, you’ll discover:

  • Why Indigo Events changed its name to Indigo Visual.
  • How they grew from wedding roots to corporate work.
  • The new video services they now offer.
  • Which cities in North America they now serve.

I have some exciting news to share today. If you follow the world of photography and branding, you might know the name Indigo Events. They have been around since 2017. But as of January 26, 2026, they are making a big change.

They are now called Indigo Visual.

This isn’t just a new name. It is a sign that they have grown way beyond just taking photos at parties and conferences.

More Than Just Events

When the company started, the name “Indigo Events” made perfect sense. They focused on event coverage. But over the last few years, things changed. Brands started asking for more.

They wanted videos that tell a story. They needed cool headshots for their teams. They even needed technical photos for industrial work.

Shiloh Gabriel, the Director of Marketing, said the old name just didn’t fit anymore. “Indigo Events captured where we started, but it doesn’t fully represent what we deliver today,” Shiloh explained.

The new name, Indigo Visual, covers everything they do now. It shows they are a full partner for all things visual, not just one type of job.

From Weddings to Work

Here is a fun fact I found interesting. The company actually started as a branch of a luxury wedding studio.

Back in 2017, they noticed that corporate photos often looked stiff and boring. They wanted to bring that artistic, emotional style from weddings into the business world.

It worked. People loved the fresh look. Now, they help agencies and brands tell their stories in a way that feels real and human.

All Over North America

Even though they are based in Toronto, they aren’t staying put. They now have service locations in nine cities, including Chicago, Miami, and New York.

This is great for big companies. If you have an office in Boston and another in Vancouver, you can get the same consistent quality of photos and videos at both spots. They relay predominantly on their own team rather than freelancers, which keeps quality consistent.

Check Out the New Site

With a new name comes a new website. You can see their recent work and full list of services at indigovisual.com.

It is always cool to see a company grow and change with the times. Indigo Visual is ready to help brands look their best, no matter where they are.
