How Green Security Grew Fast in 2025 and What It Means for Hospitals

In this article, you’ll discover:

  • How Green Security added 58 new hospitals in record time.
  • Why their smart tools help vendors get inside safely.
  • What the Predicata buyout means for clinic costs.
  • How these updates create a safer place for patients and staff.

Have you ever walked into a clinic and noticed all the different people working there? It takes a big team to keep things running, from doctors to outside vendors bringing in fresh supplies. Keeping track of everyone is a tough job. Last year, a company named Green Security made that job much easier for healthcare groups. They had a huge year, helping hospitals manage who comes in and out safely.

To explain their focus, Green Security CEO Mickey Meehan shared some thoughts. “Last year we focused on building the infrastructure hospitals and vendors need to operate with confidence today, while laying the foundation for a more integrated, insight-driven future,” he said.

Welcoming New Hospitals

In 2025, the company added 58 new customers to their network. They also figured out how to get these new locations set up in half the normal time. Customers loved this faster setup, giving them a high 4.9 out of 5 stars for the process. Over the year, the system checked almost one million credentials and did over two million secure scans to make sure everyone was safe to be inside.

Launching Smart Tools

Green Security did not just add users. They also built better tools. They expanded a program called Emerald to help nearly 8,000 vendors get inside safely. They also created a first of its kind system for monthly checks to make sure backgrounds stay clear all year long. Plus, they made a helpful phone app so vendors can manage their passes easily. If anyone gets stuck, there is now live help ready on the phone 24 hours a day.

Teaming Up and Growing Bigger

In October, Green Security announced plans to buy another software company called Predicata. This company is great at looking at costs and helping clinics make good choices. By joining forces, hospitals get a much clearer picture of who is coming in and what products they bring. Green Security also teamed up with groups like C4UHC to help make the industry rules better for everyone.

Looking ahead to 2026, the team plans to keep adding helpful features and making their system even stronger. For patients and staff, this means a safer place where doctors can focus on what matters most.
